TLT’s Pregnancy & Postpartum Marriage Mentoring program helps pregnant and parenting families on the transition to parenthood. This program gives expecting and new parents easy-to-use tools to help them strengthen their friendship, increase intimacy, and regulate conflict—thereby improving their well-being and that of their child(ren).
Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Lack of sleep, never-ending housework, and new fiscal concerns can lead to profound stress and a decline in marital satisfaction — all of which affect the baby’s care. Not surprisingly, 69% of new parents experience conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings.
Our research-based programs prepare couples for life with a baby and help them be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to strengthen their relationship and foster the baby’s development during this challenging time.
This program combines scientific research and psycho-education to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening their families. It teaches new parents how to gain relationship satisfaction and create healthy social, emotional, and intellectual development for their children.

This is a program designed for couples to work together to form their team-of-two, hence you and your partner’s willingness to put in the time and effort to better your relationship is essential!
This is a facilitator-led guided online mentoring program. The program is structured with 12 different sessions, one per week, each including individual conversations, conjoint conversations, and exercises to be performed as a couple.
Each online session with the mentor would last about an hour. Some of the exercises are done during the sessions, while some others are to be accomplished as a couple in between sessions at your comfort and time.
For you to get the best experience of this program, you must have a basic computer or mobile device and internet skills. You should be able to use a web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, and keep it updated to the most recent version.
